ABOUT BRAU.NEY

My name is Ugnius Byron Braun and I am a 24-year-old photographer from Kaunas, Lithuania. While I don’t have a list of brand collaborations or high-profile events behind me, I bring eight years of experience to my work, three of which have been spent working professionally. This portfolio represents where I am now — trying, learning and refining.

My photography stems from curiosity, a passion for exploring and experimenting, and a deep desire to create something special and memorable for myself, as well as for my clients. Much of my work was born through adventure, an irresistible pull towards the unknown and what beauty lies beyond the beaten track. My fascination with unseen places extends beyond landscape photography and influences the way I approach every subject. I am always drawn to unique angles and perspectives, convinced that experimentation often leads to the most compelling and distinctive images.

Over the years, photography has taught me to slow down and observe the details that often go unnoticed. Whether I am capturing a vast landscape, an intimate portrait, or a fleeting moment during an event, I strive to create images that feel authentic and emotional. Technical perfection is important, but I believe the strongest photographs are those that evoke a feeling, tell a story, or preserve a moment in a way that remains meaningful long after it has passed.

My style continues to evolve with every journey, project, and experience, as well as every hour spent editing. What remains constant is my desire to explore, learn, and create photographs that leave a lasting impression. At its core, my photography is about transforming curiosity into imagery and trying to let others feel the beauty of playful exploration.

Event Photography

I approach events and weddings by observing, anticipating moments, and capturing them as they unfold. Social events matter to me because they hold moments that would otherwise disappear. Life moves quickly, and much of it fades with time—photographs become a kind of personal archive, reminders of what is important. I strive to create images that feel alive.

Sports Photography

Climbing is the sport I photograph most closely. Being familiar with it allows me to anticipate movement and moments intuitively. I’ve photographed everything from youth cups and casual gym competitions to international events, and my images have been used by online news publications. I’m interested in focus, effort, concentration, as well as unique body positions. It’s always inspiring to see what the human body is capable of.

Travel Photography

My travel photography is fueled by a love of exploration and time spent outdoors. Whether hiking through unfamiliar terrain or documenting climbing expeditions, I’m drawn to creating a sense of awe, scale, and perspective. My goal is to experience moments that can only be lived—and to come as close as possible to translating that feeling into an image.
